PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 is required to reserve your wedding date and time.
Please note that it is understood that on payment of the non-refundable deposit, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Your wedding reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received and processed.
The non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the final balance.
The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to the ceremony. At this point, no further changes to the arrangements can be made.
Outside vendors such as reception venue, florists, musicians, DJs may also request deposits at the time of booking and they too will not be confirmed until such deposits are received. Suncoast Weddings are not responsible for services supplied by outside vendors or vendor contracted directly by the couple.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Suncoast Weddings are fully responsible for providing services to the couple as agreed between couple and Suncoast Weddings at the time of booking.
PRICES
Suncoast Weddings reserves the right to alter any of our advertised wedding prices up to the date of confirmation of your booking. You will be advised of the current price of the wedding arrangements that you wish to book before your contract is confirmed. When booking more than a year in advance the prices indicated are approximate and cannot be confirmed until our vendors have set their rates for the year in question. We will provide you with an estimate and confirm the prices prior to the prices being finalized and notified to you prior to your wedding.
DATE CHANGE
In the event that the client is forced to change the date of the wedding every effort will be made by Suncoast Weddings to transfer location reservations, sub-contracts and the wedding coordinator support to the new date.
The client agrees that in the event of a date change any expenses including but not limited to deposits and fees that are non-refundable and non-transferable are the sole responsibility of the client. The client further understands that last minute changes can impact on the quality of the event and that the wedding coordinator is not responsible for these compromises in quality.
LATE ARRIVAL/DELAYED START
A very late start will have an impact on other scheduled events for that day. The couple therefore understand that in the event that the ceremony begins by more than 30 minutes after the scheduled and agreed upon start time due to lateness of the couple, an additional fee of $100.00 may be charged.
After 45 minutes the wedding ceremony may be cancelled and there will be no refunds. The couple further understand that late arriving guests are not grounds for delaying the start of the ceremony.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Suncoast Weddings are not liable for reserving a wet-weather back-up but will make every effort to reschedule the wedding if inclement weather or lightning should cause the wedding ceremony to be delayed or cancelled. At the request of the couple, Suncoast Weddings can reserve wet weather backup at an alternative location and at the expense of the couple.
Should the time or date change due to inclement weather, lightning, hurricanes or other natural disasters Suncoast Weddings will transfer all monies paid to the new time or date where possible.
EQUIPMENT
Inclement weather or conditions at the beach such as wind, sand, humidity, can sometimes affect electronic and photographic equipment. Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available Suncoast Weddings will not be responsible for ethical problems beyond our control.
CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellations to this agreement must be made in writing and you may cancel this agreement for any reason. However the following will apply:-
Within three days of receipt of deposit/payment: after all deposits and funds paid to other vendors have been deducted, a full refund of all deposits and/or payments, unless the wedding date falls within the three days.

Within eight to twenty nine days of the wedding date: after all deposits and funds paid to other vendors have been deducted one half of the balance will be refunded.
Within seven days of the event no refunds will be made.
Suncoast Weddings recommend that you talk to your travel insurance company to ensure that in the event of any unforeseen occurrences, such as severe inclement weather, that may result in the cancellation of your wedding booking you will be covered by your policy. One such company is Wedsafe – www.wedsafe.com Please note that Suncoast Weddings have no affiliations with Wedsafe.
Suncoast Weddings shall not be held liable for the interruption of services due to the weather, flight delays or circumstances beyond its control. In such instances Suncoast Weddings will do everything within reason to reschedule and re-accommodate all services in the event of unforeseen circumstances and to reschedule the date of the wedding and all agreed services and monies paid by the couple will be assigned to this new date.
ACTS OF GOD
If an act of God, such as, but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, hurricanes or other natural calamity shall prevent the wedding taking place and we are unable to offer an alternative location or reschedule within the next four months we will make a full refund. Please note that Suncoast Weddings will make every attempt to retrieve monies already paid to third parties such as florists and reception venues, but this may not be possible.
The couple agree to release Suncoast Weddings from any and all claim for damages in connection with a cancelled wedding as outlined in the paragraph above.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUPLE
The couple understand that they are responsible for paying Suncoast Weddings in full and/or any other vendors or services contracted directly by the couple.
The couple shall not change the date, time or location of the wedding ceremony without first contacting and advising Suncoast Weddings of said change to determine if Suncoast Weddings are still available to provide services.
If the couple do change the date, time or location of the scheduled wedding ceremony and Suncoast Weddings are unavailable to provide services, then the Suncoast Weddings are released from all contract obligations and shall in no way be held responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for non-performance.
