Treasure Island Beach Weddings are set on the clear sandy beach with sparkling views of the ocean. We have had weddings where dolphins actually swam past as the service was being conducted. If you're here at sunset then there's no second-guessing how Sunset Beach got its name - its situation affords nothing short of a spectacular sunset. If you want to enter your aisle from a pavilion (or if you need shelter from a brief shower), Sunset Beach has a pavilion which can be hired and can be seen on the Treasure Island website
Nearby to Sunset Beach itself, there are great accommodation choices - your wedding or vow renewal can be set up just steps from your door on the fine sands. For a Florida beach wedding or vow renewal without the hustle and bustle, Treasure Island and Sunset Beach, in particular, have a laid-back charm and as one of the local signs proudly displays, when you're here, you're on 'island time'! Weddings on the beach require a permit. All inquiries for permits or an explanation of the city's governing regulations should be made to the Recreation Department at least 60 days in advance of the scheduled event. A $25 non-refundable administrative fee is required with an application for a small gathering of fewer than 75 people for a ceremony. We'll help make sure the permit is in order for you.
